MUMBAI: Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani was of the most successful movies of Bollywood. The movie was critically acclaimed and was also a huge box – office success. The character of Prem is considered to be one of Ranbir Kapoor’s best performance it was this movie-only, where he had met, his ex lady love Katrina Kaif who had played the female protagonist in the movie.
But do you that Ranbir Kapoor wasn’t the first choice for the movie, the director of the movie Rajkumar Santoshi had offered the movie to Shahid Kapoor first but the actor declined the movie as he thought that the character of Prem was very similar to his character in Jab We Met and then the movie was offered to Ranbir Kapoor who install agreed to do the movie and went on to be Ranbir’s biggest hit of his career then.
Well, today when we watch the movie we can’t imagine anyone else in the role of Ranbir Kapoor except for Ranbir Kapoor and if our very own Kabir Singh would have given a nod to the movie then this would have been Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif first movie together.
