With its unusual title, the movie “Vicky donor” made its place in Bollywood and garnered a lot of love from the audiences all over. This romantic comedy was directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by John Abraham. The film won the National Film Award for providing wholesome entertainment.

Domestic collection – 30 crores

A thriller film that stars Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher, it received a positive response from the critics and fans all over. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey. The performances of the leads were also very well appreciated, and the movie garnered a lot of positive word of mouth.

Lipstick Under My Burkha

Collection internationally – 21 crores

Lipstick Under My Burkha is one of the very few movies that has made a mark on the audience with its bold female characterization. It is a Hindi language black comedy directed by Alankrita Shrivastava and produced by Prakash Jha.

Kahaani

Budget – 8 crore

Collection internationally – 104 crores

Starring Vidya Balan, Kahaani received a lot of love and appreciation from the audiences all over the globe. Its gripping storyline and the climax were the highlights. The movie is co-written, co-produced, and directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

No one Killed Jessica

Budget – 9 crores

Collection internationally – 104 crores

No one Killed Jessica is a biographical thriller and is based on the real murder case of Jessica Lal. This movie starred Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerjee in the leads and was directed by Rajkumar Gupta.
