Ishaan Khatter says working in 'Dhadak' was more about adapting after 'Beyond the Clouds'

After making his debut in the unconventional Beyond the Clouds, young actor Ishaan Khatter on Friday said it was more about adapting to his role in his upcoming flick Dhadak which is a far cry from Majid Majidi's dark drama.

"Actually it was a lot of adapting and not adjusting. Because it's a very different world, cinematically and also the people involved in it are completely different," 22-year old Ishaan told reporters while promoting Dhadak which also stars debutante Janhvi Kapoor.

Ishaan's character in Beyond the Clouds was a street hustler and drug dealer while in Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, which is an official adaption of Marathi blockbuster film Sairat, he plays an innocent guy madly in love.

"It was adapting to this world. But even for a second I did not feel I had to adjust here. We all worked very much in synchrony. There was a lot of harmony in set and it felt like a big holiday together."

Amyra having 'too much fun' shooting for 'The Trip 2'

Actress Amyra Dastur has entered the web world with The Trip season two, and she is having a lot of fun hanging out with her co-stars Shweta Tripathi, Mallika Dua and Sapna Pabbi.

"It's great to be back in South India and shoot where I shot my first Tamil film with actor Dhanush. Starting with a strong female show in the web world is something I'm very proud of," Amyra said in a statement.

"I know that people will really love this season and the chemistry between all the quirky characters. Sonam Nair (director) wanted us to complete our scuba diving lessons prior to the beginning of the shoot. It has been amazing. It's been too much fun, just hanging out with the girls," she added.

Amyra plays Ira in the second season of The Trip.

Janhvi wants to play Meena Kumari or Madhubala

Janhvi Kapoor, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak, on Friday said she would love to play veteran actresses Meena Kumari or Madhubala if the opportunity comes.

"I read about her (Meena Kumari) life once. Or Madhubala, as I think their stories are riveting.

"I am a huge fan of their work and have always tried to pick up from their work. So if I get an opportunity (to play them), I would be very happy," Janhvi told reporters on the sidelines of her film promotion.

Anupam 'panicked' after losing Twitter followers

Veteran actor Anupam Kher says he was panicked and questioned his eyesight after losing 130,000 followers on Twitter.

Anupam on Saturday tweeted, "Losing almost 130,000 followers on Twitter had its initial side effects. Panic, memory loss, disbelief, anxiety, questioning my eyesight. Even though I was explained patiently that it is part of cleaning up policy. But I felt like they expelled me from their wealth."

Twitter decided to sanitise the platform by removing inactive and locked accounts. So, a lot of popular names from the film industry ended up with reduced followers.

Other big names, who lost their followers on Twitter, include Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, among other film celebrities as a result of the 'sanitisation' of the micro-blogging platform.

The micro-blogging platform was yet to come up with an official statement on this.

Shashank's heart 'beating faster' before 'Dhadak' release

Releasing on 20 July, Dhadak stars Ishaan Khattar and marks the debut of late veteran actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi.
