Much has been said about Ranveer Singh’s flamboyant love for the shy and reserved Deepika Padukone. But looks like all is not well in their paradise, at least that’s what rumours suggest.
The gossip about the golden pair’s separation started doing the rounds when Ranveer didn’t openly send out his wishes for Deepu’s Hollywood debut flick XXX: Return of Xander Cage’s trailer release, a leading gossip portal stated.
It added that Deepika too didn’t say anything about Ranveer’s smooch act in his upcoming rom-com Befikre. Hmm. So is everything over between the two? Considering how they have always been there for each other on social media, it came as a surprise when the two refused to acknowledge each other’s special moments in their careers.
But another source close to the site has added that the couple is very much together and that they are apparently working on their differences.
Interestingly, when Ranveer (at the launch event of his movie in Paris) was waxing eloquent about his romantic holiday in the city, a reported allegedly asked him when he would be vacationing here with Deepika. He brushed it off with, “Sir, you have assumed that I have a girlfriend. I had come many years ago with my girlfriend. I have also had a Parisian girlfriend by the way. A beautiful Moroccan girl."
This is quite a change of phase because Ranveer has always been vocal about his feelings and his urge to settle down, while Deepika has shied away from commenting.
During an interview, she was quite sure about not settling down anytime soon.
So, what’s cooking? Is it the commitment-phobia on Deepika’s part that is causing the rift? Or is the Ranveer’s over-enthusiastic ways? We leave the debate up to you folks.
