MUMBAI: The debate on nepotism has been going on for a while where star kids have been given the platform and people who come from outside have to struggle. This has been the norm for quite some time.
But it is been spoken on in recent times as Sushant also faced the brunt of it. Twitterati is demanding a ban from all the movies produced by these production houses. The one person who tops the radar is Karan Johar. The director has been slammed and trolled for promoting nepotism and for sabotaging the career of many actors.
The audience is demanding a ban on Dharma Productions.

We bring you a video which shows how Karan Johar tried to convince Aditya Chopra to not launch Ranveer Singh.
In the video, Karan tells Ranveer and Anushka that how he tried his best to not launch the actors but failed miserably. He further mentioned that he spotted Ranveer playing table tennis and told Aditya that he cannot launch him as he doesn’t have the looks and personality to become an actor. But Aditya was convinced by the actor’s talent and told Karan that he is a very good actor and he will launch him. The Dharma director also told Aditya to change the poster of the film Band Baaja Baaraat as Ranveer’s personality was not matching up to the movie.
Karan also revealed that at one point he was fed up of making Aditya understand and he was doubtful whether he would watch the movie. But Ranveer Singh with his talent, made the director eat up his words and proved himself that the director was wrong. There is no doubt that Ranveer is an exceptionally good actor today.
In the video, he also said that after watching Anushaka’s audition he told Aditya not to launch her in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and how hurt she was after hearing this.
Well, was only Ranveer Singh's looks why Karan disapproved of him or was it because he didn’t belong to the industry and wasn’t a star kid?
