MUMBAI: 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' actress Vidya Balan's true love story with Siddharth Roy Kapur started at Karan Johar's party back in 2010. Reportedly, she was deliberately invited as KJO had played Cupid and wanted her to be with Siddharth. After dating for a while, the duo got married in an intimate ceremony in December 2012. The actress in an interview with Youtuber Raj Shamani revealed that she was grateful that she did not have to find her life partner on a dating app.

She revealed, “A lot of people even from our generation swipe right and left. But I just got lucky that I found a partner before Tinder and Bumble boomed and I’m very happy about that. Love will always remain love even. It’s what makes the world go round and round. It’s just that people have gotten so spoilt for choice in every area of their lives that they’re wanting to keep their options open even in terms of relationships".

The actress also feels that the era of dating apps creates a lot of confusion in the minds of the youth. She also revealed how her romantic life would have been if she had resorted to dating apps. "I would have sucked at it (laughs)! I would have really gotten confused and that’s why you can’t blame this generation that is confused and is breadcrumbing. When you’ve so many options, it will be confusing. It’s like when I go to a buffet, I just don’t understand ki kya khaaye".
