MUMBAI :Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the 'it' couple of Bollywood, have been establishing relationship benchmarks for everyone. Recently, Saif told an interesting anecdote about some advice he got from his co-star Rani Mukerji when he started dating Kareena on Kareena's talk show "What Women Want" Rani gave Saif some dating advice after learning that he had never before dated a girl who was also a working actress.

Saif Ali Khan shared some wise words, saying, “I remember what Rani told me once when we had just started dating, you and I. Because I’ve never, I don’t think I had ever been out with a working actress before, in that sense. So she said, ‘Just behave like you are in a relationship with a man’”.

Saif clarified what Rani actually meant when she mentioned that she advocated treating Kareena equally. Saif stated, “She meant that don’t get into the gender of it. Treat it like equal, like you’ve got two heroes in the house. Two people working and then you will have no problems. And I think she is absolutely right.”

In 2007, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's romance blossomed. Parents of two children, Jeh, age 2, and Taimur Ali Khan, age 6, the couple wed in 2012.

Saif and Rani get along well too. Rani has stated that when the pair debuted on Kaun Banega Crorepati, “I always enjoy working with Saif because he’s a very good actor and I consider him to be one of the finest actors in India. His comic timing is really nice. So, that’s why I really like working with Saif as an actor because I get the chance to give my best because there’s such a great actor in front of me and I don’t want to feel that if I’m not on my toes then I’ll miss it.”
