MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra is all set to tie the knot with politician Raghav Chadha on September 24. Ahead of the big fat wedding, the couple hosted a sufi night for their close family and friends in Delhi on Wednesday. The musical night took place after they sought blessings at a gurudwara.
Parineeti and Raghav’s friends and family arrived for the event all decked up in glamorous outfits. Actor Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra smiled and posed for the paps.
It was earlier reported that Priyanka and daughter Malti Marie will attend the wedding. Parineeti’s father Pawan Chopra was also spotted outside the venue. Fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva and cricketer Harbhajan Singh also attended the sufi night.
In the videos doing the rounds on the internet, Parineeti was seen dancing her heart out alongside Raghav. Her father was also seen vibing to the songs. According to reports, songs like ‘Tumhe Dilagi Bhool Jaani Padegi’ and ‘Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana’ were played at the event.
Earlier in the day, there was an ardas ceremony and the couple was seen donning matching pink outfits for the ceremony. The couple will reportedly tie the knot at Leela Palace in Udaipur and the celebrations will begin on 23rd September.
Parineeti and Raghav exchanged rings in May this year. Parineeti shared beautiful pictures on her Instagram handle and revealed how their love story started.
She wrote, “One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home.”
Parineeti was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai. She will next be seen in films like Capsule Gill, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue and Amar Singh Chamkila’s biopic.
