Yashpal Sharma plays a ghost in Gang of Ghosts

Yashpal Sharma, known for his recent forceful roles in Rowdy Rathore and Gangs of Wasseypur, plays a ghost in Satish Kaushik's Gang of Ghosts, the Hindi remake of the 2012 Bengali hit Bhooter Bhabishyat. Confirming the same, Yashpal stated, "It was fun to portray the role of a ghost in Gang of Ghosts; it was quiet an enjoyable experience.” Gang of Ghosts revolves around a bunch of ghosts who acquire a haunted house assuming it as their home. The said haunted villa is to make way for a spunky mall. The film, which is slated for a March release, also stars Sharman Joshi, Mahi Gill, Parambrattta Chatterjee, debutante Meera Chopra, J. Brandon Hill, Rajesh Khattar, Saurabh Shukla, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Verma, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and Anupam Kher among others. Besides the Satish Kaushik film, Yashpal is working in films like Girish Malik's Jal that highlights the issues related to water in Gujarat, Sandeep A Varma’s Manjunath that depicts the heroic life of Shanmugam Manjunath who was murdered for sealing a corrupt petrol station in UP and also a Marathi film Ajooba.
