Actor Khushank Arora made heads turn with his mean acts as Ankur in &TV’s successful show, Santoshi Maa (Rashmi Sharma Productions).

We now hear that Khushank has decided to move out of the venture, aiming greener pastures.

News coming in is that Khushank has already put down his papers and is serving notice period. His parallel lead role in the show offered him varied shades to portray and his journey in Santoshi Maa proved to be a perfect comeback vehicle for the actor.

Confirming the news, Khushank told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I have thrown in the towel. I am glad that I got the opportunity to work with Rashmi Sharma; it was a joyful ride for me with some pleasant memories.”

Reasoning out further, Khushank said, “My role of the parallel lead during my tenure was splendid as I got to perform varying shades from positive to negative to again positive. But some journeys in life have to end somewhere. There were other tracks being worked out and I did not want to do a serial just for the sake of it. Thus, I have quit to take a plunge into the protagonist genre. Yes, I am on the scout for brighter avenues in the form of lead roles. I want to explore more and see where I can stand and to what extent I can deliver.”

Here’s wishing Khushank all the very best!!
