Kavita told the media that she wants to experiment in life so has decided to quit FIR. Really? Yes, we know you guys are surprised. Can FIR rake in TRPs without Kavita Kaushik? After all, she is the face of the show. Well, only time will be the judge of that. But here’s another twist. Our sources whispered into our ears that Kavita is yet to officially inform the production house (Edit 2 Productions) about her exit. The crux is that she talked to the press rather than sitting with the makers and discussing her way out. Tellychakkar.com had been tracking Kavita for more than a week now but she was holidaying in Dubai. Now she is back in Mumbai, and when she heard about the allegation, she went on to rubbish everything. “I will be quitting the show in March and I have informed about it to the production house in the month of October last year (2011). As per the contract I need to serve two months notice period, but keeping the interest of the show in mind, I have decided to stay on for three more months. Everything is pretty clear and there is no point of me not discussing things with the production house.” So what if Edit 2 decides to retain her? “I have given them five months time to get convinced and come what may, I am moving out of the show in March. I don’t want to grow old doing the same role. I have no regrets on quitting FIR but yes, I will miss it a lot as I have played inspector Chautala for six years.” Hmm… we also talked to Binaifer Kohli of Edit2 Productions and after a patient hearing she refused to comment anything.
