MUMBAI: After the huge success of season 1 of Never Kiss Your Best Friend on ZEE5, the makers and the stars are back with the same dose of love and romance. But this time, the twist is that the entire series has been shot during the lockdown, and the actors have shot their parts from their own homes.
Never Kiss Your Best Friend Lockdown Special revolves around Tanie, played by Anya Singh. During the lockdown, she has a video call with her ex Zayed, played by Zain Imam. What happens next forms the crux of the series.

Team TellyChakkar got a chance to speak with Zain in context of the show and his role. The actor revealed that it was really amazing shooting on his own during this lockdown and it was a completely different experience for all of them holding the camera and acting together.
Talking about his character Zayed in the series, the actor said that Zayed is a very simple and straightforward person. He knows what he wants from life and how to get it. He is coming a sober person to live with.
Well, it will be exciting to see what Zayed and Tanie have to offer the audience. The series has premiered today on ZEE5.
