MUMBAI: Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most popular shows. The much-loved quiz-based game show has a huge fan following. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, season 12 of the show is currently on air.
The latest episode of the show started with Big B starting the game with roll-over contestant Runa Saha from Kolkata. The star was simply floored with Runa's intelligence and kept saying it throughout the show. Runa revealed during the show how her daughter trained her for the show. She even complained to Big B that once she wanted to donate some money to charity and she asked her husband for money and in return he told her if you want to do charity first earn.
Guess what? When the contestant revealed the same, Amitabh Bachchan pulled her husband's leg and said whatever money she has earned it is her and she can do anything with it and he should not stop her.

He also joked that women from Kolkata are avatars of Durga Maa and he should be careful and he very well knows it. Runa Saha won Rs 25,00000 and quit the show as she was not sure about the Rs 50, 00000 question. The contestant had also utilized all her lifelines.
Next, Amitabh Bachchan welcomed on the show Karamveer couple Gyanendra Purohit and Monica Purohit, from Indore’s Anand Service Society. Their goal is to support deaf and mute children. The organisation was set up in 1997 and it was named after Purohit's brother. He passed away in a tragic death and he inspired him to help children with special needs, especially those who are likely to be dependent due to lack of or no access to basic necessities and education.
The couple said that they started the organisation with just five kids and had no monetary aid. The couple has been working in the field for 22 years now and has taught over 25,000 hearing and speech impaired kids. They have helped over 5,000 of their students live independent life.
Upon knowing their story, host Amitabh Bachchan was amazed. During the show he kept cheering them for their great efforts. Big B requested Gyanendra Purohit and Monica Purohit to share their experience during the lockdown amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Gyanendra revealed they immediately came up with a YouTube channel and tried their best to inform about the lockdown through sign language videos so that it was available for all the people across our nation.
