BB14: Jaan Kumar Sanu apologises to Maharashtrains

MUMBAI: Yesterday,  Jaan Kumar Sanu was reprimanded by Bigg Boss for his remark on Maharashtrains. During the episode, Bigg Boss called Jaan inside the confession room and lashed out at him for his comments.

Bigg Boss told Jaan that everyone is equal in the show, and nobody is allowed to comment against any community or religion. He added that his comments have hurt the sentiments of the community.

Jaan then apologised to the Marathi community. He also apologised to Bigg Boss and said that he will make sure than nothing of this sort is repeated in future.

For the uninitiated, during an episode of Bigg Boss 14, Jaan, who was irked with Nikki and Rahul's growing closeness, asked her not to speak in Marathi.

Post this, on October 28, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Amey Khopkar threatened the channel if Jaan Kumar Sanu didn't apologise on the show within 24 hours, they will stop the shooting of the reality show.
