MUMBAI: Babil Khan is all set to make his acting debut with OTT, he has shared throwback pictures that were clicked by his father days before he passed away. The pictures were clicked on 15 April, 2020 and Irrfan passed away on April 29, 2020.
In the pictures, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and his son Ayaan can be seen shaving Babil’s head after he returned from his university. In his post, Babil also mentioned how Irrfan had once asked him if he would let him cut his hair.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, he even tagged his father. Babil wrote, “In the very hopeful times baba would ask me if I’d let him cut my hair. But I was a teenager, I wish I would have. Any way a few days after I came back from university, Baba decided that Ayaan and Mamma were going to shave my head. (15th April 2020): @irrfan” Have a look:
Soon after he posted the pictures, his fans were all hearts for it. Recently, he had posted his childhood pictures and remembered his Holi celebration with his father and other family members. He went on to call it the ‘best Holi celebrations of his life’. He had written, “I remember the best Holi celebrations of my life at Jaansi’s house.”
On the work front, Babil will be seen sharing screen space with ‘Bulbbul’ actress Tripti Dimri. Directed by Anvitaa Dutt, the movie will be helmed by Anushka Sharma's production house.
