MUMBAI : Renowned actress Apara Mehta, who has been part of the entertainment industry for decades now and has impressed masses by playing varied roles in all her shows, will soon make her way in Sony SAB’s popular cop-based drama Maddam Sir.

On joining the cast Apara, shared, “I am very happy to join the cast of Maddam Sir. I somehow started enjoying playing cameo roles. I think shorter roles make you perform better and there is a lot of scope to show your versatility. It brings the best out of me. Also, comedy is a genre which I haven’t really experimented hence Maddam Sir is one such opportunity where I can showcase my coming timing and I am looking forward doing such roles."

Maddam Sir is produced by Jay Mehta and Kinnari Mehta under the banner of Jay Mehta Productions. It has managed to keep the viewers entertained with its light-hearted value driven content. The show which stars Gulki Joshi, Pankhuri Awasthy, Sonali Naik and Yukti Kapoor in the lead roles, addresses social issues through the eyes of four dynamic women police officers who take every challenge as it comes and solve cases with jazbaat.
