Yes, you heard it right!! The actor’s Godly avatar in the Zee TV show is being accepted in foreign countries too. But, the appreciation that the actor has received in Sri Lanka is for his Sri Lankan film Sri Siddhartha Gautama.

Yes, you heard it right!! The actor’s Godly avatar in the Zee TV show is being accepted in foreign countries too. But, the appreciation that the actor has received in Sri Lanka is for his Sri Lankan film Sri Siddhartha Gautama.
The actor had shot for this foreign film sometime last year which released on 24 January 2013.The film is such a big hit that the President of the country took time out to dine with Gagan. Wow, that’s an achievement in itself!!
When contacted, Gagan Malik shared his happiness stating, “Yes, the film has turned out to be a big success in Sri Lanka. It is also because this is the first movie made on the life of Gautam Buddha in Sri Lanka. Earlier they did not have the permission to make films on him.”
He further went on to say, “I did meet the President (Mahinda Rajapaksa) and also the monks there. And the interesting part is that movie is still doing well in the theaters there.”
Congratulations, Gagan!!!
