Story behind bagging the role...
The preparations are going on for a long time. I auditioned for this role in January. When I got a call from the makers, I was tested COVID positive at that time. Hence, things got a bit delayed. The makers didn't approach me then. As I recovered, I messaged them and asked if I can meet them. The makers told me that they had only auditioned for me for the character and were keen on getting me on board for the role.
Preparations for the role...
My character name is Pari and the makers had hired a tutor for me since I can't portray such a character without anyone's guidance. The tutor used to give therapy and schooling to kids. I used to go there and spend all day with the doctors, kids, and the tutor. A lot of research has been done on this and post that, we have shot the scenes.
Bonding with the star cast...
We all met for the first time while we were going to do an outdoor shoot in Mussorie. All of us met at the airport and we were quite excited to meet each other. Pankhuri and I instantly clicked the moment we met. And now, we all gel so well. We have lots of fun on the set all the time. It's fun to work with everyone.
Gud Se Meetha Ishq also stars Ishaan Dhawan and Pankhuri Awasthy in the lead roles.
The show will be airing from 18th April onwards on Star Bharat at 7.30 PM.
Stay tuned to TellyChakkar for all the latest updates.
