Exclusive! “I trusted the wrong people in the game, my own friends backstabbed me; I guess there is where I went wrong, should have made an alliance with Priyanka and Archana” - Gori Nagori

MUMBAI:    Gori Nagori is a popular Rajasthani dancer & stage performer. She became popular with the Rajasthani song, ‘Le Photo Le’.

The dancer has a massive fan following and fans shower a lot of love and support for her.

These days she is grabbing the headlines for her stint in Bigg Boss 16, where she was playing the game well and had emerged as one of the strong contestants of the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked her about whether she predicted her eviction, and whether she was with the wrong group of friends.

Did you expect to get evicted from the show, considering that you were nominated along with Sumbul and Priyanka?

I knew I would get evicted, considering that Priyanka and Sumbul had a strong fan following. I also told Priyanka that my time has come, to which she told me that I won’t be going anywhere. I couldn’t stoop down to another level to play the game; I didn’t want to create a love angle and just wanted to be this sweet contestant on the show, but then the other side of mine also came out.

People expected you to speak and take a stand for yourself when you were called a thief on the show but at that time also you didn’t react. Do you think that backfired?

I didn’t say anything as the people who accused me were my friends, and they didn’t trust me. Even someone like MC Stan knew everything. He was telling everyone to help me but he wasn’t doing anything, and it really hurt me that my own friends didn’t support me.

At the end, Archana and Priyanka were seen taking a stand for you. Do you think that you trusted the wrong people?

Yes, somewhere I feel that I trusted the wrong people. Priyanka is honest to the face and doesn’t back bite, and the same with Archana. I feel if I had chosen the right people to stay with in the house, I wouldn’t have been eliminated as my own friends were against me.

Well, there is no doubt that Gori Nagori played the game very well and the audience loved her game, but unfortunately, it came to an end.
