Netizens call The Archies ‘nepotism ka mela’ as Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and others wrap up the shoot

MUMBAI :Earlier this year, it was officially announced that Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot., Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina will be seen in The Archies which will be directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film will premiere on Netflix, and of course, fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Sridevi, are excited to watch Suhana and Khushi in the movie as they will mark their acting debut.
 
Today, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the makers took to Instagram to announce it. They posted, “Grab your milkshakes and say Archiesssss because filming just wrapped and we can't wait to see the gang on-screen!”

While some netizens are excited to watch the film, some are trolling it and calling it ‘nepotism ka mela’. There are three actors in the film that come from a Bollywood family background; SRK’s daughter Suhana, Sridevi’s daughter Khushi, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya. Even before their debut, Suhana and Khushi, have always made it to the headlines because of their social media posts, and they are star kids, so of course, the buzz around them is quite good. Meanwhile, Agastya has not been in the public eye much, but he is also clearly carrying some pressure on his shoulders and he is the grandson of the megastar.

The release date of The Archies is not yet announced, but it will premiere on Netflix next year. It’s a Zoya Akhtar film, so the audience does have high expectations from it.
