MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj.

At the time of the court hearing, Vanraj feels helpless because he is unable to testify against Sonu because Suresh has shown him to be mentally unstable.
Vanraj therefore blames himself for losing the case since Anuj is the last remaining eyewitness and the case is already becoming too complicated.
As a result, Vanraj's sadness and the pain of not receiving justice have such a negative impact on him that he surprisingly decides to kill himself.
Anupama proposes going to the High Court regarding Samar's case.
