Susmita who will soon be seen in the third season of Aarya titled Aarya Antim Vaar has spoken about her love for action and learning the martial art form Kalaripayattu.
The Taali actress said, “I absolutely adore action sequences. I've developed a mindset to embrace every opportunity, even if it involves risks. To prepare for these action-packed moments, I learned Kalaripayattu from a professional.”
She further added, “It left me wondering why I didn't try it earlier. It's not just about strength; it's also an expression of vulnerability, something you can see on my face during those scenes.’
Kalaripayattu includes strikes, kicks, grappling, preset forms, weaponry, as well as healing methods. It is a complex martial art form that originated in Kerala.
'Aarya Antim Vaar' will begin streaming on the platform Disney+ Hotstar from 9th February.
