Back then the actress's team had released a statement and had said that her dad had passed away due to cardiac arrest.
It's been almost three years and the actress took to social media and shared her feelings on how much she misses her dad.
The actress said " Around 4 : 45 Pm Shalimar Garden Srinagar, I was busy shooting and a call came in. Your father is no more, they said. Yes it was 20th April 2021. This day. Three Years today Daddy"
Well, there is no doubt that Hina was extremely close to her dad and today she misses him not being around but feels his presence every day.
The actress was extremely close to her dad and this loss has left a void in her.
