MUMBAI: Saif Ali Khan has made a name for himself not only in the world of Bollywood with films like Omkara, Dil Chahta Hai, etc but also in web series like Sacred Games. The actor has earned himself a massive fan following with his versatile body of work. The actor who was last seen in the mythological film Adipurush is known to be a doting dad to his children Sara, Ibrahim, Jey and Taimur.
Saif was once married to actress Amrita Singh and she was a bigger star than him at the time. Saif however was known to be a helpful person especially to his peers and was once offered a film with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, however Amrita stopped him from doing the film.
Now, filmmaker/actor Deepak Tijori once revealed that in the 90’s film actors went out of their way to help each other. They not only promoted each others’ films but also starred in them in cameo roles so the film had a wider reach. So when he was working on his film Pehla Nasha, he requested SRK, Aamir and Saif to star in the film and all three of them readily agreed. However Deepak revealed that Saif’s then wife Amrita stopped him saying that if actors wanted to support each other they would attend the film premier and not star in the film.
Saif however did not pay heed to Amrita’s advice and starred in the film but Amrita’s reaction to the same shocked Deepak.
