Kiara Advani revealed that her engagement had taken place in Rome and reportedly when she was on a vacation with Sidharth's family the Yodha actor had proposed. "He planned the works. He had done this candlelight dinner. We go back after dinner, and he takes me up for a walk. We go up and suddenly the violinist comes out of the bushes playing and sweetly his little nephew is taking our video from behind the bushes. He then goes on one knee and proposes. I was not expecting it that night so I was so overwhelmed, I didn’t say anything", Kiara had told ETimes.

The actress was proposed to by Ranbir Kapoor in Masai Mara. During an interview with India Times, the actress revealed, "He didn't tell anyone; he just carried the ring and did it in the most amazing place because it's a place that we both have a strong connection with, which is Masai Mara".

The Fighter actress was proposed to by Ranveer Singh in Maldives. He had revealed to India Times in an interview, "We were going to take a holiday, and I decided to propose to her on the holiday. I got the ring, and my folks were like, 'Are you going to propose?' I was like, yes. They asked, 'Are you not consulting her parents?' I didn't have that degree of maturity. I said, 'No, I'm marrying her, so I will ask her.' We went to the Maldives, and I secretly carried the ring with me".

Vicky Kaushal proposed Katrina at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Sawai Madhopur. He had revealed, "It was very last-minute. I had been warned by everyone that if you do not propose, you'll have to hear about it for the rest of your life... I did it one day before the wedding. We had planned a special dinner one day before all the guests were arriving for the wedding".
