Stree 2: Shraddha Kapoor admits being terrified by her own scary avatar in the film; ‘Jab mere chehre ko kuch ho jaata hai...'

MUMBAI: The film Stree 2 starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is currently doing very well at the box office. In addition to making the audience laugh a lot, the horror comedy also managed to frighten them with several well-written scenes. In addition to discussing the film, Kapoor disclosed that she doesn't enjoy scary films. In the Amar Kaushik film, the actress also said that she was afraid of the character she played.

In an interview with the well-known news website, Shraddha Kapoor was questioned regarding her favorite horror movie. She responded by saying that while she likes scary comedies like Stree 2, she doesn't watch horror films. Having said that, she continued, saying that she would like to be involved in the movie if she ever gets a really fantastic script.

Further on, in the same interview, the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actress revealed that in her recently released movie, when something happens to her character’s face, she gets terrified. She demonstrated how she would watch herself on the big screen with her ear and face half covered. “I get scared a lot from horror films,” she exclaimed. Having said that, she did share that the 2018 American horror film Hereditary is a horror movie that gave her chills.

In addition to talking more about the wildly popular movie still playing in theatres, Kapoor revealed that she had heard of real horror stories.

She said that although she hasn't personally witnessed any paranormal activity, she has heard a lot of frightening tales. Sharing about a childhood incident, Shraddha Kapoor divulged that she along with her friends in the colony created this story that there’s a ghost in a house on the premises.

She did add that when they really entered the house, they saw things in bits and pieces, even though they created this story. They also discovered several lovely little dolls scattered around. At that point, they became worried, believing that the house might actually be haunted.

In addition to Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in important parts, the film is directed by Amar Kaushik. It is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree, which was penned by Niren Bhatt.
