MUMBAI : Being a celebrity comes with its pros and cons.
While they shoot to extreme fame and recognition because of the exposure they get through television, OTT medium and films, there are also some more unpleasant things that they have to go through.

It was only recently that we reported all what actors have to go through in terms of fake casting calls. There are also various examples of fans where some are pleasant and some cross limits of respecting someone’s privacy.
Well, actress Megha Sharma has gained recognition within a very short period of time. She has been part of TV shows like Baal Krishna and Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai and has played the role of Chhabili in Pandya Store. She quit the show after coming onboard as a recurring character last year.
Reportedly, she said that the repetitive nature of the character she played was one of the reasons she wasn't keen on continuing being part of the show.
Well, the actress has now taken to her social media handle to share a post on how she posted a story and a fan kept bombarding her with messages to come on a call and that she would get paid Rs. 25000 to Rs. 30,000.
Megha mentioned how they are failing as a society among other things which read:
‘We are failing as humans, failing as society.. People often think that as actors, we live a very glamorous life, surrounded by fans and followers. Yes, we do, but there's also a harsh reality, especially when you're a female actor. Some people assume that just because you're an actor, you're involved in shady things behind the camera. It's disgusting how such creeps make assumptions and text us such things without even knowing us thinking that we won’t see this rubbish but we do and it does mentally affect us, we are human beings too! Treat women with respect....We work hard just like anyone else!’
