Triptii Dimri talks about her admiration for Jodie Comer; reveals referring to her scenes for Qala

MUMBAI: Triptii Dimri, known for her nuanced and powerful performances, is swiftly making her mark in the industry. As she gears up for the release of her much-anticipated film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, the actress shared her admiration for a Hollywood icon who has deeply influenced her craft.

During a recent event, Triptii spoke candidly about her fondness for Emmy Award-winning actress Jodie Comer. “A Hollywood actor I would love to meet is Jodie Comer. I've been a huge fan of hers since Killing Eve. I messaged her after watching Killing Eve because I was in awe of her performance and wondered how she did it. I actually watched some of her scenes for Qala just to see how she is doing what she is doing. She’s been brilliant in the show,” Triptii revealed.

In her upcoming project Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii plays Vidya, a small-town girl from Rishikesh, opposite Rajkummar Rao. Set in the 1990s, the film promises to be a laugh riot riot, and Triptii’s raw and authentic portrayal has already garnered attention through the film’s trailer. 

After Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, she has an impressive lineup of projects that are sure to keep her fans excited. She will be seen next in the much-awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Dhadak 2. Additionally, she is set to take on a challenging role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming untitled action drama.
