MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.
Prem's inability to confront his own reality suggests that he has a very nasty background that he has hidden to himself. The show will soon introduce Prem's relatives. Mrs. Kothari, his stepmother, will appear to be a really decent person.
However, Prem will despise her because he believes that his mother Gayatri took her own life because of Mrs. Kothari. Prem has been dealing with this childhood trauma for a very long time. He despises his father since he never showed him the love and care he needed because he was constantly preoccupied with his job.
Prem maintains his distance and is perceived as unwilling to accept his stepmother as his mother. Anupama and Rahi will soon learn of Prem's wealthy family history, which will be the biggest shock of their lives because they were unaware that Prem was the son of such a wealthy man.
However, Prem will be very clear with Anupama and Rahi that he has no ties with his family and views himself as an orphan.
