MUMBAI: The grand finale of Celebrity MasterChef India unfolded in spectacular fashion today, as Gaurav Khanna was crowned the winner of the inaugural season. Alongside the gleaming trophy, the actor also took home the grand prize of ₹25 lakhs, marking a triumphant end to an intense culinary journey.
Tejasswi Prakash secured the position of second runner-up, while Nikki Tamboli claimed the title of first runner-up. Both contestants delivered consistently strong performances throughout the season, earning praise from the judges week after week for their creativity and determination in the kitchen.
Tejasswi’s journey was one of remarkable growth. Though she faced early setbacks, struggling to leave a mark with her dishes in the initial episodes, her dedication never wavered.

Her signature dish, thecha, became a staple of her repertoire and was a highlight in nearly every challenge. While Nikki shared a few heated moments with eventual winner Gaurav Khanna, the two managed to bury the hatchet as the competition neared its conclusion.
Both Nikki and Tejasswi gave Gaurav a tough fight in the finale, making it a nail-biting contest till the very end. Their impressive journeys and standout performances added to the excitement of the show’s climax.
