MUMBAI: Actor and model Mukul Dev has left his mark across Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam films. Before entering the movie world, he made his presence in the TV industry with his 1996 debut series, Mumkin. The same year, he also made his movie debut with Dastak, where he acted alongside Sushmita Sen.
Mukul Dev’s news of his demise was confirmed by Vindu Dara Singh to India Today. “After his parent's death, Mukul was keeping to himself. He would even step out of the house or meet anyone. His health deteriorated in the last few days and he was in the hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him.”
Vindu Dara Singh even tweeted, “Rest in peace my brother #MukulDev ! The time spent with you will always be cherished and #SonOfSardaar2 will be your swansong where you will spread joy and happiness to the viewers and make them fall down laughing!”
Even actor Deepshika Nagpal reacted to the news saying that she couldn't believe that Mukul is no more. Mukul Dev is known for movies like Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardaar, R... Rajkumar, and Jai Ho.
