I don't watch fiction shows: Sumona Chakravarti

Bengali beauty Sumona Chakravarti who is currently seen as Natasha in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and Colors’ Comedy Nights with Kapil is not a TV buff. However, with a remote in hand, she prefers watching only movies and some international shows. In a chat with Tellychakkar, she shared what she likes to watch on the tube for our FAV Shows section: Read on… After a hard day’s work, which is the channel do you usually watch? Well, after a hard day’s work I don’t prefer watching television as I am not a TV buff. I rather like to have a nice shower and read a book or watch movies on my laptop. Fiction shows that you are watching currently on TV? I don’t watch any fiction shows. Reality shows that catch your attention? It should be Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Colors), my show Comedy Nights with Kapil (Colors) and my favourite Indian Idol Junior (Sony Entertainment Television). Personality you like on TV? It’s a tough one but I think it would be Mr Bachchan, as I think he is one of the finest actors in industry. Second would be a tie between Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor. Any foreign shows you feel can be made in India? I don’t think we can make international shows in India. We don’t have that kind of an audience and if we do then our censor board will never allow. Our functioning style is totally different. My favourite foreign shows are Homeland, Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives (Star World) but I don’t think these shows can be made on Indian platform. Given a chance, which TV series will you like to be a part of: The Big Bang Theory.
