Tarun Khanna sails in Bhabhi

Model turned actor Tarun Khanna will soon be seen in Star's afternoon raker Bhabhi. He essays the role of Samar Kapoor who hails from Australia to pursue his wife, Rishika aka Poonam Joshi. "My character in this show is the same as that of Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge," says Tarun.. "Rishika cannot reveal anything about Samar to her family. So, Samar will enter the family and then there's a twist in the tale. The story takes a different turn when Samar's hidden motives come out in the open. Though it's not a lead role but I like the current track," he adds. Why is Tarun mostly seen in a negative role? "Somehow, I have been typecasted but will soon change my image. I have a few more offers in the pipeline. If these work out then probably things will change for the better," he says. Apart from television is Tarun is also trying his hand at Bollywood. "I have one film where I play a cameo role of a don. I have signed on this film just because of the Iceland model Brindis in the film. Before taking this risk, I have also made sure that I am financially strong. Apart from acting I also want to take to direction in the coming months. One day I will make a superhit film which everybody will love," signs off Tarun.
