Mumbai, the maximum city, is known for its hectic traffic and the speedy life that the residents live.
And often on roads, while driving, anger mounts and scuffle follows between men on wheels.
Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about actress Monaz Mewavala, in an ugly case of road rage, being attacked by an autowallah.
Now, the editorial team at Tellychakkar.com has learnt that another television actor was attacked and injured yesterday.
The person we are talking about is veteran actor Vije Bhatia (Savdhan India).
In an exclusive chat with Tellychakkar.com, Vije recounted the horrific incident. “I live in Goregaon and had gone to attend my action classes with my good friend Gurmeet (Choudhary) in the morning in Kandivali. I dropped Gurmeet home after the classes and on my way back my car was blocked by another four wheeler.
Three men came out and started hitting me. I suffered injuries on my hand and legs.”
But why would any person knock around someone without any reason?
Vije continued narrating…
“Well, a month ago, my car met with a small accident with another car owned by a person named Prasad. It was a minor hit and the damages would have amounted to 1000 bucks, which I was ready to pay off. But he tried to extort more money out of me and demanded Rs. 6,000 – 8,000. I knew this was not justifiable as it was a minor scratch. I argued and asked him if he’s not happy with the money he could go on to file a police complaint. But he refused and kept calling me. So after a few days I stopped answering his calls.”
“Hence, yesterday (13 May 2014) at 11.30 in the morning he bumped into me, stopped my car and beat me up. I am sure he must have been following me,” said Vije.
Horrifying!!!
The pic above shows how badly Vije was beaten.
Vije claimed that he was initially apprehensive of filing a police complaint against Prasad but his good friend Gurmeet encouraged him to do so.
“I thought the incident was over but when he came with three men and smacked me I was stunned. Gurmeet then encouraged me to file a complaint. He accompanied me and it is with his support that I filed an NC (non cognizable complaint) at Goregaon police station yesterday evening. Post that the cops have assured that this person will not harass me henceforth.”
This is one nasty incident.
