MUMBAI : Till now, we have seen a few movies and web series that spoke about lockdown and how people’s lives were in those days. But, it looks like Nayanthara starrer Connect is all set to offer us something never-seen-before because it’s a horror film set against the backdrop of lockdown and the pandemic.
The trailer of Connect has been released and it will keep you hooked for those 2 minutes and 22 seconds. It doesn’t have many scary scenes, but the background score and the way it has been shot will surely give you shivers down your spine.
Nayanthara as usual impresses us with her act in the trailer and even Anupam Kher and Sathyaraj leave a mark. In the trailer, the makers have revealed that the runtime of the film is 99 minutes and there won’t be an interval in it.

Connect is directed by Ashwin Saravanan who had earlier directed Maya and Game Over. It is Ashwin and Nayanthara’s second film together; the two had earlier worked together in Maya which was also a horror movie and it was a super hit at the box office. Now, let’s see what response Connect will get at the ticket windows.
Talking about other films of Nayanthara, the actress has Jawan, Iraivan, Lady Superstar 75, NT 81 lined up. Jawan is one of the most awaited films of Nayanthara as it will mark her Bollywood debut. The movie, which stars Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead, is slated to release in June next year.
