MUMBAI: Versatile actor Nikhil Siddhartha, who gained nationwide acclaim with the National Award-winning Karthikeya 2 (Best Telugu Film), is now gearing up for another Pan-India spectacle with Swayambhu, his landmark 20th film. Currently in production, this historical action epic is helmed by Bharat Krishnamachari and features Nikhil in a never-seen-before avatar as a legendary warrior. Backed by grand visuals, intense drama, and rich cultural depth, Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios and presented by Tagore Madhu, crafted with top-tier production values and a strong Pan-India vision.
On Nikhil’s birthday, Team Swayambhu unveiled a striking poster featuring the powerful duo- Nikhil and Samyuktha, set against a war-torn backdrop and introducing the ancient sceptre- the Sengol.
Nikhil commands attention as a fierce warrior mid-battle, sword in hand, exuding strength and intensity. Beside him, Samyuktha stands poised with a bow and arrow, ready to strike. The poster captures the film’s epic scale and visual grandeur, with the Sengol in the background adding a layer of power and historical significance.
The Sengol stands as a timeless symbol of power and righteousness. From ancient kingdoms to India’s independence, its legacy is legendary. As per ancient lore, Lord Rama was bestowed the Sengol to signify just and dharmic rule, setting the gold standard for righteous leadership.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi installed the Sengol near the Speaker's seat in the new Parliament building, paying homage to India's rich heritage.
Now, Swayambhu weaves its story around these Powerful Backdrops and the upcoming teaser release will reveal more into this exciting world.
Apart from Nikhil Siddhartha and Samyuktha, the film also stars Nabha Natesh as the other female lead. The visuals are brought to life by cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, with a powerful score by Ravi Basrur. Production design is helmed by M Prabhaharan and Raveendra.
