MUMBAI: Renowned Tamil cinema actor Visheshwara Rao passed away suddenly on April 2 in a private hospital in Chennai from complications caused by cancer. The actor was 64. Visheshwara Rao has reportedly been battling cancer for a few years and receiving therapy for his condition. Later today, his last rites will be held.

At the age of six, Visheshwara Rao began his career as a child artist. His portrayal of Laila's innocent father in Suriya's Pithamagan brought him fame. The actor's most well-known moment is the jail scene from the movie,'Loosa Pa Nee' which has Laila's well-known line. He is also well-known for his brief performance as the arrogant store owner in Madhavan's Evano Oruvan.
In his long film career, he has acted in over 300 films and has also portrayed humorous roles in several Telugu movies. Additionally, he played supporting roles in TV serials. Among the movies from his early acting career are Sisindri Chittibabu, Bhakta Potana, Andala Ramudu, and Potti Pleader.
The comedy actor Seshu, who was well-known for Lollu Sabha, passed away very recently in the Tamil cinema industry. The actor passed away from a heart attack.
Actor Daniel Balaji died a week after his death. Tamil fans were startled by the actor's sudden death. At the age of 48, the actor, who was well-known for his parts in Vada Chennai and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, passed away following a heart attack.
The grief of Kodambakkam has now been heightened by the passing of Visheshwara Rao.
