Rakhi forces Anupamaa to get a diamond ring for Kinjal. Such a huge demand gives stress to Anupamaa.
However, Anupamaa is not ready to let Rakhi break Paritosh and Kinjal's marriage alliance just because of a diamond ring. So she sells off all her gold ornaments and purchases a diamond ring.
Rakhi takes advantage of the situation and insults Anupamaa’s family. Vanraj is disappointed with how Anupamaa took such a step and made Rakhi slap on his face.
