MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

When the builder shows up to the Shah residence bearing an eviction notice and reveals that Vanraj had sold the property without telling them, the situation becomes more dire.
When Toshu's past lies are revealed, his attempts to make things right backfire. Following a violent altercation with Toshu, the builder threatens to use goons to evict the Shah family forcibly, and insists that they leave the house in an hour. This leaves Toshu surprised and the family distraught.
In the next Anupamaa episode, Toshu gets criticized for not being able to handle the situation and places the responsibility on Vanraj for their problems. Goons come to evict the Shah family as the deadline draws near.
When Baa and others try to stop them, they start taking the family's possessions by force. Anuj intervenes to protect Anupama from the commotion as things go out of control and confronts the thugs when they almost hit her with an object.
Additionally, Anuj steps in to save a food container from being hurled, and Anupama chastises the thugs for their disregard for the food.
