MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Anuj changed at Ganesh Chaturthi, and he even made Anu a marriage proposal. In addition, Aadhya requests that they remarry because she wants to see them together.
The Shah family and the residents of Asha Bhavan also urge Anu to accept Anuj's proposal. She is hesitant, though. Anu is afraid to remarry because she cannot bear the thought of her marriage disintegrating.
Anuj assures Anupama that he will never abandon her, allaying her fears that she won't be able to handle any more heartbreaks. Later, he begs everyone to give Anu some time, which she finds difficult to accept but still finds difficult to trust.
Anuj will not give up on trying to win Anu's trust and impress her.
Anuj returns to his businessman persona as well and chooses to become exactly who he was in the past. We are all aware that Ankush and Barkha have deceived him.
They amused themselves with his money after stealing his entire Kapadia empire. However, it appears that Anuj is now prepared to reclaim what he lost as a result of them.
