MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Dolly interrupts Anupama and Anuj in the next episode of Anupamaa as they are getting ready for the interview, telling them to eat dahi shakkar before heading out because they are heading somewhere important. She purposefully spills the dish, splattering dahi shakkar on both of them while feigning to feed Anupama. To everyone's surprise, Dolly then remarks provocatively that this kind of situation is seen as a terrible omen. Anupama is nevertheless adamant about going to the interview because of Anuj's persistent encouragement. Even though Anupama is anxious, Anuj gives her confidence and helps her approach the camera. Her admission during the interview that Anuj Kapadiya served as the inspiration for "Anu ki Rasoi" surprised both him and the interviewer.
Anupama argues in her defense that she has picked Anuj as her business partner because she has complete faith in his talents. She gives everyone hope that Anuj would return, reestablishing his empire and proving his actual value.
