MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Prathna appears to be the daughter of Parag Kothari and she married Gautam. In order to gain access to the Kothari family's inner circle, Gautam would come off as a haughty and conceited man who doesn't love or respect Prathna.
Prathna will always be viewed as her husband's property, thus she won't be able to accomplish the things she wants to. Prathna will be extremely afraid of him since she will witness him repeatedly physically beating her.
Only Rahi will be able to identify Gautam's strange behavior toward Prathna and attempt to prevent Gautam from hurting his wife.
However, Prathna would rather remain silent since she does not want to damage her family's dignity by portraying herself as a victim of domestic abuse. Since Gautam is unwilling to alter his behavior and even makes an inappropriate attempt to approach Rahi and touch her, things are going to get really nasty.
