MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

It appears that when Prem and Rahi reveal their affections to the family, Anupama and the others would be taken aback. Anupama would be shocked to learn that Mahi attempted suicide after being rejected, forcing Prem and Rahi to take this action.
Anupama will be seen making it apparent that she expects Prem and Rahi to be together since she doesn't want Prem and Mahi to be in a loveless relationship. Since Rahi is Anupama's daughter, Mahi will be upset with Anupama's choice since she believes Anupama is favoring Rahi.
Mahi will start acting like a victim and admit that nobody is helping her because her parents aren't there. As a result of Mahi's self-centered fixation, Babuji will be seen reprimanding and shutting her down, prompting Prem and Rahi to end their romance.
The family, especially Anupama, has done more than enough for Mahi, therefore Babuji will be reprimanding her and telling her not to go over the bounds. Mahi will become enraged and withdraw to her room.
