MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

The fact that Prem is deeply in love with Anupama's daughter Rahi and intends to wed her will probably surprise Parag. He would believe that Prem is being taken advantage of by Anupama and Rahi, who are gold diggers.
He will summon Anupama to a desolate location and tell her the truth about Prem. By referring to Anupama as a low-class mother who is exploiting her daughter to get a rich man's son, he would further degrade her.
In order to get Anupama to leave his son alone, he will be shown offering her a sizable sum. Anupama will become incensed as Parag Kothari blames her loyalty and character once more.
She will receive money from Parag in exchange for avoiding his son and his daughter. Anupama will, however, chastise Parag Kothari and make it quite evident that nothing is for sale.
Parag adores his son and believes Rahi and Anupama are using him to move up the corporate ladder. Therefore, in an effort to keep his son safe, Parag will strive to keep Anupama and Rahi away from him.
