MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Given that Prem has stated that he has fallen in love with Rahi, it appears that Parag Kothari would delve into Anupama's life in order to learn more about her and her family history.
It will soon be revealed to Parag that Anupama was first married to a man named Vanraj Shah for 26 years before divorcing him and marrying business magnate Anuj Kapadia.
Anuj Kapadia will be remembered by Parag because they were previously close friends. He would be seen in a state of shock after learning that Rahi is truly the daughter of Anuj and Anupama.
Anupama will learn that Prem is his only son from Parag, who also accuses her of exploiting her son to get success. When Parag begins disparaging Rahi for attempting to approach a wealthy man's son, Anupama will become enraged.
Rahi will be enraged when Parag slut shames her in front of Anupama. Anupama is going to swear that she will never let Prem near her daughter Rahi.
Because he won't believe Anupama, Parag will accuse her of attempting to use his name for financial benefit.
