MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Previously, Anupamaa had a miraculous recovery after being brutally attacked by Megha.
Anupama observes Anuj with adoration as he prepares for the Anu ki Rasoi stand in the next episode of Anupamaa. She helps him and brushes a lock of hair away from his face, thinking back to the times when he had done the same for her.
As the family celebrates with the members of Asha Bhavan, Toshu goes back to his previous ways. He approaches Kinjal and the others, announcing himself as the new leader of the Shah household and demanding that they go back inside. Anupama responds, casting doubt on his legitimacy and self-respect.
Toshu threatens to demonstrate his strength.
Toshu surprises Leela by announcing he is the family's head through the organization of a rite. Toshu clarifies that the family must choose a new leader since Vanraj is not present.
Baa declines, saying that these ceremonies ought to take place following the death of a father and that Vanraj is still alive. Baa reluctantly helps Toshu force the hat onto himself in spite of this.
