MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Anuj appears to be mentally unbalanced since he is living in the past.
He continues to search everywhere for his daughter Adhya since he has not been able to get over the trauma of losing her.
He would mistakenly believe that Ishaani is his daughter Adhya after observing the Shah Family children playing in the gardens.
He'll be seen talking to her and lifting her into his arms.
When she gets terrified, Ishaani will ask Anuj to leave her.
He is lost, though, and won't give in to her plea.
Later, when Baa and the rest of the family see Anuj with Ishaani, they will cry out for assistance.
When Toshu tries to take away Ishaani, Anuj will push him away.
Toshu would lose it and phone the police to report Anuj's attempted kidnapping of Ishaani.
The whole Shah family will be against Anupama, and she will be seen coming to support Anuj.
