MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Vanraj had previously expressed his inability to accept Mahi, Kavya's daughter, since she had reminded him of the extreme betrayal.
Vanraj will never give Mahi the affection she deserves and would constantly pick other children over her.
Mahi will apparently become ill and have a serious ailment.
Since Kavya has never seen her daughter in such a position, she will be seen becoming very anxious.
When Vanraj learns of Mahi's illness, he too becomes concerned.
But he doesn't want his family to see him displaying care for Mahi.
Realising that the helpless infant is in distress will cause him to become more fatherly with Mahi.
He is going to be shown crying for Mahi.
