MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a major turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting.
We saw a huge leap in the show after which Meethi and Cheeni are all grown up.
In the latest episode, we saw that Imlie makes up a lie as to why Parul was not there. She says that Atharva was there at the right place at the right time so we got here because of him. This makes Cheeni furious. Cheeni and Athrava later meet and Cheeni is afraid that he might oust that Cheeni is responsible for Parul running away. She tricks him and makes him think that he shouldn’t tell anyone about what Cheeni did.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Atharva’s father talks to Narmada about Imlie and Atharva. Narmada instantly says yes and Anu gets furious.
Cheeni and Imlie get back and Anu informs Cheeni about the wedding proposal and says that it’s from the richest family of the city. Anu instigates Cheeni to snatch it away from Imlie. Cheeni deliberately pushes Imlie in the mud and Atharva’s father comes and helps her.
Imlie thanks him and goes to clean up. Rupi and Sundar ask her to get ready properly while she is unable to understand the reason. Narmada comes in and tells her that Atharva’s father has come to ask for your hand in marriage. She asks Imlie to say yes and leave the Rathore house as soon as possible.
Atharva on the other hand keeps thinking about Cheeni and says that he doesn’t believe in arranged marriages. He wonders if the one writing poetry in The Bhaskar Times and Cheeni are the same.
