MUMBAI: Owing to its intriguing and gripping plot, Colors TV's new serial Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawan is gaining a lot of attention. Zain Imam and Reem Shaikh play Agasthya and Paakhi, respectively, while Akshit Sukhija plays Paakhi's love interest, Ishaan.
Paakhi's secret lover and best friend in the show is Agasthya. Many people admire Zain Imam and Reem Shaikh's chemistry.
Previously, we saw, that Virat claims that he may be arrested tonight. Pakhi warns the inspector to be within his limits. "We don't talk to people on your level," says Agasthaya. He says the commissioner will personally contact him. On his phone, he sees a lot of calls from Yug. Agasthaya returns his call. His phone is switched off. Virat claims that the commissioner is overworked. Agasthya makes a phone call to the Home Minister. He is busy, according to his PA. They are unable to communicate at this time. Virat guffaws and says, "Call the Prime Minister right now!"

Agasthya asks, "How did you come up with this case that I want to kill Ishaan? I treated him and transferred him to my hospital." He notices Maya from the other side of the room. Agasthya is taken aback when he sees her.
Dadi dials the lawyer's number. Pakhi makes an attempt to make Mona understand, but she refuses and she says that Agasthya might be in trouble since he married Paakhi just after an attack on Ishaan and that might give the officers a motive.
Virat says to Agasthaya, "Do you still want to know why you're here. You can fool the rest of the world, but not me. You'll now claim you don't know her. You've never seen her before. It would be beneficial for you to confess your crimes. Please excuse me while I go have dinner." Virat says this to Agatshya and walks away. Agasthya glares angrily at Maya. She weeps.
In the upcoming episodes, we see that Virat is adamant about finding out the truth about Agasthya, while Agasthya gets bail after being called in for questioning.
Virat is suspicious about Agasthaya and has also been trying to warn Paakhi about the same. At first Paakhi rubbishes the allegations, but then weird things start happening. She is curious to find out the truth.
Virat on the other hand in a massive twist finds proof against Agasthaya that he sends to Paakhi.
Paakhi is shocked and can't believe that her best friend could do this.
